With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David L. Poynton (Naugatuck, Connecticut), born in Waterbury, Connecticut, who passed away on March 17, 2023 at the age of 59. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Donald M. Poynton, Sr. and Carol Wiltshire (Boucher); and his brother Robert J. Poynton. He is survived by : his wife Emily Poynton (Wilde); his daughters, Sarah Poynton (Mike Yablonski) and Ashleen Whitaker (Dan Whitaker); his stepdaughters, Madeline Boutot and Briana Boutot; his grandchildren, Jack Yablonski, Aaron Yablonski, Emilee Whitaker and Benjamin Whitaker; his siblings, Donald M. Poynton, Jr. (Deborah) and Audrey M. Poynton (Kenneth Schanke); and his nephews, Marc, Bob and Bill Poynton. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
