Helen A. Nicolo Obituary
In loving memory of Helen A. Nicolo of Naugatuck, Connecticut, who departed this world on November 18, 2025 at the age of 95. Helen leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Helen shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Helen farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her husband Anthony G. Nicolo; and her parents, Theodore Novosalski and Anna Novosalski (Verceski). She is survived by: her daughter Elaine Carey; her son-in-law Tom Carey of Naugatuck; her grandson Shane of Naugatuck; her brother Louis "Dee Dee" Nova; her sister-in-law Jill Nova of West Hartford; and her sister Carol Santa Barbara "Babe" of Florida. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Naugatuck Valley Memorial - Fitzgerald Zembruski (240 N Main St, Naugatuck, CT 06770). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception (74 W Main St, Waterbury, CT 06702).
