She was predeceased by: her spouse Frederico Valente; her parents, Polivio Aresta and Teresa Aresta (Fonseca); and her grandson Timothy. She is survived by: her sons, David J. Valente (Katie), Frederick S. Valente and Edward J. Valente (Melissa); her grandchildren, Arianne, Courtney, Alexio, Samantha, Rachel and Kimberly; her great grandchildren, Connor, Jackson, Pheonix, Salem, Madison and Ripley; and her brothers, Agostinho Aresta and John Aresta.
