Joao Augusto Vaz Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 22, 2022, at the age of 74, Joao Augusto Vaz (Naugatuck, Connecticut) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Filipe and Maria; and his parents-in-law, Antonio and Hilda Moura. He is survived by: his wife Hilda Lopes Vaz; his sons, John Vaz of Malden, MA and Brian Vaz of Dedham, MA; his brother Filipe Vaz (Celeste) of Montville, NJ; his nephews, Philip Vaz (Ashley) and Daniel Vaz (Marissa) of New Jersey; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Oliveira and Hilda Merolli (Roy). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
