It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jose M. DeMatos of Naugatuck, Connecticut, who passed away on March 19, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his spouse Albertina "Tina" DeMatos (Nata) of Mary's Hospital; his parents, Joaquim Dematos and Emilia Dematos; and his sisters, Gloria and Alice.

He is survived by : his grandchildren, Adam, Briana, Austin Tavares, Carter, Sydney and Lucy Dematos. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and many other relatives and friends.
