With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Judith C. McCowan of Naugatuck, Connecticut, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Judith left this world on October 20, 2025 at the age of 81, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Herculano Joseph and Lucille Cabeceiras, Jr. (Pichette); and her brother Charles Bruce Cabeceiras. She is survived by: her son James; her daughter-in-law Anita McCowan; her daughter Donna Greatorex; her granddaughters, Taylor, Carly Greatorex, Ashley and Alyssa McCowan; her great grandchild Grace Judith; and her pet Peanut. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Buckmiller Ford Mengacci Funeral Home (82 Fairview Ave, Naugatuck, CT 06770). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Church (318 Church St, Naugatuck, CT 06770).
