She is survived by: her husband Manuel A. Soares; her children, Daniel Soares (Sheila Soares) and Sandra Soares Duarte (Carlos Duarte); her grandchildren, Daniel, Michael, Suzanne, Sophia and Catarina; and her sister Rose S. Ferreira. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
