We are sad to announce that on March 28, 2024, at the age of 86, Manuel R. Mendes of Naugatuck, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Jeronimo Mendes and Assuncao Mendes (Rodrigues). He is survived by : his wife Maria Mendes (Lourenco); his children, Antonio Mendes (Andrea Sutton) of Prospect and Marlene Mendes of Naugatuck; his sister Lourdes Mira (Antonio) of Coimbra; and his grandchild Timothyand Margot Mendes.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory to Clube Uniao Portuguesa, 110 Rubber Avenue, Naugatuck, would be gratefully accepted.
