Maria Emilia Sapata Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Maria Emilia Sapata of Naugatuck, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 7, 2026 at the age of 103. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Maria Emilia Sapata to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Antonio Jose Sapata, Sr.; her parents, Domingos Branco and Claridade Oliveira; her daughter Rose Marques; her brothers, Nuno Branco and Joao Branco; and her sons-in-law, Joao J. DeCampos and Jaime DaSilva.
She is survived by: her children, Emilia DeCampos, Ana Lucia DaSilva and Antonio Jose Sapata, Jr.; and her children-in-law, Kathleen Sapata and Antonio A. "Tony" Marques, Sr.. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
