With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Mary E. Sears of Naugatuck, Connecticut, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Mary left this world on October 4, 2025 at the age of 75, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Martin Sr. and Gladys Calkins Martin; and her grandson JD Daisey. She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Martin (Glenn Kelly), Wendy Sears (Jack Pietrafesa) and Cynthia Sears; her grandchildren, Crystal Purcaro, Jackie Pietrafesa, Jakob Sears, Brianna Daisey and Samantha Pietrafesa; her great grandchild Alexis Purcaro; her brothers, Fred Martin Jr. and George Martin (Melinda); her close friend Lola Merritt; her friend Paige Brown; and her brother Charles Martin.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Spinelli-Ricciuti Funeral Home (62 Beaver St, Ansonia, CT 06401). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Chapel of Spinelli-Ricciuti Funeral Home (62 Beaver St, Ansonia, CT 06401).
