It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Ruggiero of Naugatuck, Connecticut, who passed away on November 19, 2023, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Antonia Bianchi and Pietro Bartolomucci; her husband John P. Ruggiero, Sr.; her sisters, Teresina and Barbara Bartolomucci; and her daughter Maria F. Ruggiero.

She is survived by : her children, Francesca of Hershey, PA, John Jr. of Naugatuck, CT, Regina of Naugatuck, CT and Peter of Belmont, MA.. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and godchildren, as well as cousins.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Rita's honor to Saint Francis of Assisi Church, the Naugatuck Historical Society, or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
