She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Longo and Muriel Longo (Happy). She is survived by: her husband William A. Stopper; her brothers, Ronald Longo (Roberta) of Naugatuck and Edward Longo (Denise) of Lake Forest, California.; and her children, Kristen Sulzman (Christopher) of Ridgeland, SC, Karie Stango (Stopper) of Oakville and Mark Stopper (Stephanie) of Wallingford. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Buckmiller Ford Mengacci Funeral Home (82 Fairview Ave, Naugatuck, CT 06770). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
