He was predeceased by: his wife Susan Janik (Kaminski); and his parents, Stanley G. Janik, Sr. and Ethel Janik (Nimeth). He is survived by: his daughter Jennifer Das; his son-in-law Proloy Das of Avon; his grandchildren, Indira and Oliver Das; his cousin Irene Petruney of Beacon Falls; his favorite collie Dakota; and his uncle StanBrittany. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
