He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Mulligan (Pyrdol); his parents, Thomas F. Mulligan, and Damien Mulligan, Jr. (Sharron); his sister Marilyn Mulligan; and his sibling's children, Kathleen Pyrdol, Meredith Duarte and Edward Gambacini.
He is survived by: his daughter Laura A. Sparso (Michael) of Naugatuck, CT; his granddaughter Amanda L. Sparso of New York, NY.; and his siblings, Mary Beth Laub (Val) and Gary Mulligan. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. John Vianney Roman Catholic Church (300 Captain Thomas Blvd, West Haven, CT 06516). A burial will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the St. Lawrence Cemetery (280 Derby Ave, West Haven, CT 06516).
