He was predeceased by: his wife Ann "Theresa" Birch (Bookless); his parents, William L. Birch and Eleanor Birch (Sullivan); and his sister Barbara Rodriguez. He is survived by: his daughters, Janice Coppola of Waterbury and Christina Balzano of Naugatuck; and his siblings, Michael Birch of Del Ray, FL and Beverly Weid of Naugatuck. He is also survived by his six grandchildren; his four great grandchildren.
