He was predeceased by: his mother Amelia Mari; his siblings, Gustavo, Luis Angel, Leopoldo, Blanca and Josefina; and his mother-in-law Irene Santana.
He is survived by: his father Leopoldo Mari; his wife Ladys Mari; his children, Americo Jr. (Migdalia), James (Sandy) and Barbara; and his grandchildren, Melina, John, Susie and Christina. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren, a great great grandson, and a great great granddaughter.
