She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Barbara Bonalewicz; her husband Willie Derwin Simmons; her siblings, Susan Carrillo, Jason Tartt and Nichole Cahill; her siblings-in-law, Darron Simmons, Antony Simmons, Sharon Simmons, Renita MacPherson, Beatrice Simmons and Kathleen Crowley; her grandchildren, Leighani Padilla, Jacoby Simmons and Ezra Priester; and her friends, Mary Ellen George and Aurora Tomlin. She was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Spottswood A. M. E Zion Church (25 Crestwood Ln, New Britain, CT 06053). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
