It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bronislawa Kowalczyk of New Britain, Connecticut, who passed away on July 27, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Heronim Michalewski and Aniela Michalewski (Ilnicka); her husband Jan Sozanski; and her sisters, Michalina and Jozefa.
She is survived by: her son Joseph Sozanski (Iza) of Plainville; her grandchildren, Daniel and Julianna Sozanski of Plainville; and her sisters, Janina Banach of New Britain and Maria Wieczorek of New Britain. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, friend and family.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Duksa Family Funeral Homes (332 Burritt St, New Britain, CT 06053). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Cross Church (31 Biruta St, New Britain, CT 06053).
