She was predeceased by: her parents, Heronim Michalewski and Aniela Michalewski (Ilnicka); her husband Jan Sozanski; and her sisters, Michalina and Jozefa.

She is survived by: her son Joseph Sozanski (Iza) of Plainville; her grandchildren, Daniel and Julianna Sozanski of Plainville; and her sisters, Janina Banach of New Britain and Maria Wieczorek of New Britain. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, friend and family.
