He is survived by: his mother Rose Etta Davis (Root); his wife Kristin Davis (Burke); his son Brian Bassell; his sister Robyn Kelsey (David); his father-in-law Thomas Burke; his siblings-in-law, Stephanie VanClief (Tom Johnson), Sean Casey (Malisa) and Patrick Casey; his nieces and nephews, Vasilios (Ashley), Jake (Cheyanne), Shiloh, Ryanne, Josie, Lucas, Tyler (Erika), Mason and Ashleigh (Ryan); his cousin Patricia Davis (BJ Zampa); and his friends, Tracy Hicks and Nancy Janusauskas.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and at 4:00 PM at the Duksa Family Funeral Homes at Newington Memorial (20 Bonair Ave, Newington, CT 06111).
