He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Zenaida Nieves (Valentin) of Worcester; his sons, Edwin E. Nieves (Tara) of Florida, Christian J. Nieves Valentin (Brianna) of Spencer, Jean Carlos Nieves Valentin of Worcester, Juan J. Nieves of New Haven, CT, Efrain Nieves of Meriden, CT and Alfredo Nieves of New Britain, CT; his daughter-in-law Monica Redmond of Worcester; his siblings, Generoso Nieves, Henry Nieves of Florida and Evelyn Nieves of Southington, CT; his son Edgard Nieves; and his parents, Generoso Nieves and Josefina Nieves (Nieves). He was also cherished by 23 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
