She was predeceased by: her parents, Ettore Donatelli and Franceschina Pece; and her husband John Marcantonio Sr. of Limosano Italy. She is survived by: her son John Marcantonio Jr. of Berlin; her siblings, Maria, Sister Margherita and Mario; and her siblings-in-law, Giuseppina and Alberto (Maria).

Elena was a devoted parishioner of St Ann church in New Britain and donations can be made to the church in her name.
