Francisca A. Mielec Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Francisca A. Mielec of New Britain, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 22, 2025 at the age of 99. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Francisca A. Mielec to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Antoni Mielec; her parents, Edwardo Attenhofer and Kunigunde Attenhofer (Aumuller-Pfeifer); her daughter Wanda Mielec; and her siblings, Eduardo Attenhofer, Alfredo Attenhofer, Elfrieda Strasser, Luiza Allenhofer and Magdalena Kohlross.
She is survived by: her children, Antonio S. Mielec (Lorraine) of Farmington, Cristina Phillips (Ed) of New Britain and Regina Mielec (Dean Kelley) of Vermont; her grandchildren, Antoni Phillips, Laurie Trajanowski (Paul), Nick Phillips, Sierra Rose Poggio, Amy Mielec, Antoni Mielec (Jennifer), Jonathan Mielec and Rachel Sweeney (Matthew); and her great grandchildren, Maya Phillips, Miya Mielec, Cayden James Mielec, Nathan Antonio Mielec, Nicky Phillips, Jr., Leah Cristina Trajanowski, Troy Paul Trajanowski, Shiloh Sweeney and Sofie Sweeney.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Duksa Family Funeral Homes (332 Burritt St, New Britain, CT 06053). A committal service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM at the Sacred Heart Cemetery Chapel (626 Burritt St, New Britain, CT 06053).
