With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Hasmig K. Cannata of New Britain, Connecticut, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Hasmig left this world on September 30, 2025 at the age of 71, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Avedis Kevorkian and Alice Kevorkian (Kouyomjian); her father-in-law Joseph; her brother-in-law Jim; and her niece Kristin.
She is survived by: her husband Joe; her children, Alyssa (Rob), Michael, Matthew (Christine) and Katie (James); her siblings, Richard (Debby) and Marie; her mother-in-law Grace; and her grandchildren, Taylor and Ian. She is also survived by many loving in-laws, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Armenian Church (1910 Stanley St, New Britain, CT 06053). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at the Fairview Cemetery (120 Smalley St, New Britain, CT 06051).
