She was predeceased by : her parents, Berkley Buckles and Bertha Buckles; and her siblings, Jeffrey Buckles and Jimmie Lois Burson of Memphis, TN.. She is survived by : her husband Samuel Earl Smith; her children, Samuel Smith II (Tara Givens Smith), Quincy Smith and Amber Smith; her brother Berkley Buckles Jr. of Memphis, TN; her grandchildren, Samuel "Trey" Smith and Claritie Smith; and her stepgrandchildren, Cameron Arnold, Kaleb Arnold, Robin Arnold and Tierra Givens.
