He is survived by : his wife Mary Ann Lynch Downes; his children, Patrick (Allison Hudson Downes), Maribeth (Greg Macko), John (Kim Downes), Susan (Mark Bavaro), Eleanor Kelly and Carrie (Peter Cerrato); his grandchildren, Christian, Ryan, Amelia Downes, Lexie, Gregory Macko, John, Erin, Matthew Downes, Grace, Dominic, Lucas Bavaro, Elizabeth, Frances Cerrato, Dillon, Tatum and Shane Kelly; and his great grandchild Cecilia Bavaro Loveday.
