He was predeceased by: his sister Loydia Valle; and his niece Elisha Valle. He is survived by: his wife Corinne Cruz; his children, Vannesa Cruz and Josue Cruz Jr. of New Britain; his mother Loyda Cabrera; his siblings, Miriam Carroll and Luis Cruz of Florida; and his nephews, Francis, Eddie Valle of Bristol, Michael, Miles St and Peter of New Britain.
