He is survived by: his spouse Aquila Edwards (Henderson); his children, Michael D. Edwards, Shiree Kelly (Montana), Polly Moore, James (Elizabeth), Mona Kelly, William Dantzler (Susanna), Callie Kelley (Caddy), Lacey Michael Edwards, Jr., Brandon Taylor and Michaela Smith (Kemar); his siblings, Larry Edwards, Navita Edwards, Edwin Edwards (Rosie), Kenneth Edwards, Barry Edwards, Eleanor Edwards, Valerie Clay-Bey (Lawrence), Terri Edwards Jameson, Lewis Miller, Jr., Magretta Miller, Wayne Miller (Louise) and Valean Miller House (George); his mother-in-law Mona McKenzie; and his siblings-in-law, Ernie Henderson (Donna), Curtis Henderson (Carrie), Wilette Yelling (Leon), Lolita Bryant, David McKenzie and Renee Hargraves (Jamel, Sr.). He is also survived by grandchildren and 20+ great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
