She was predeceased by: her father John Schmalz; her husband Edward; and her children, Andrew, Edward Jr. and Kimberly.
She is survived by: her mother Katherine Schmalz (Kopp) of New Britain; her daughter Katherine Lucas (Jim Glaspey); and her grandchildren, Jack, Leah and Sarah Glaspey of Farmington.
