He is survived by: his children, John Cichy (Marleena Cichy) of New Britain, Eva Laliberte of Bristol and Diane Cichy of Simsbury; his grandchildren, Liliana Cichy, Chase Laliberte, Sawyer Preleski and Zachary Preleski; his sisters, Jadwiga Laszczewski and Halina Bender; and his former wife Teresa Cichy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
