He was predeceased by: his daughter Christen Marie Samela. He is survived by: his parents, Nicholas J. Samela and Marybeth Samela (Andrews) of Little River, SC.; his daughter Lacey Samela of Southington; his sister Kathleen Botsacos of Meriden; his girlfriend Mona Fitzherbert of New Britain; and his grandchildren, Kiana, Alexia and Aniyah. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
