He is survived by: his wife Karen Bixby (Rich); his children, David W. Bixby and Esquire; his sister Mickie Bixby; his in-law Buddy Rich (Linda); his niece Amy Rich (Kacie); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Logan and Lucas; his nieces and nephews, Kyle McCrann (Kaleena Seeley) and Michelle Gervasi (Sebby); his great-nephew Jacob; his great-niece Olivia; his nieces and nephews, Kaitlyn McCrann and Kelsey Rich (Kevin Schumann); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Leah and Claire; and his nibling Taylor Rich.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Duksa Family Funeral Homes (332 Burritt St, New Britain, CT 06053). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 8:45 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Paul's Church (485 Alling St, Berlin, CT 06037).
