He is survived by: his children, Peter Jr. (Jennifer Shackford) of Berlin, Christina Shackford of Vernon and Halima Noor of Philadelphia; and his grandchildren, Jonah, Mason, Lyla, Ryan, Rose, Damien, Aminah and Yusuf. He is also survived by his three brothers and three sisters.
