Richard Cote Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Cote of New Britain, Connecticut, who passed away on August 12, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Richard Cote to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Virginia "Ginny" Cote (Erickson) and Ralph E. Cote; his sister Donna Marie Johnson; and his friend Sister Mary John. He is survived by: his aunt Viv; his niece Sandy Spring; his great-nephews, Nick and Joey Spring of Farmington, CT; his sibling's children, Steven Tamaren of New Britain, CT and Kristina Johnson of Indianapolis, IN; his friends, Todd Johnson and Ann Molyneaux; and his long time buddy Peter Morin.

A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 29th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Of the St. Catherine Drexel Parish (1010 Slater Rd, New Britain, CT 06053).
