Richard Paul Wowak Sr. Obituary

It is with sadness that the passing of Richard Paul Wowak Sr. (New Britain, Connecticut) is shared. Richard, born on September 19, 1948, passed away on September 16, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester A. Wowak and Anne Wowak (Quarterola); and his former wives, Marianne (Myslak) and Alina Wowak (Falinski). He is survived by: his son Richard Wowak, Jr.; his grandchildren, Brianna and Christian Wowak; his significant other Kathleen; his daughter Ashley Kawecki; his granddaughter Marissa Rivera; his sister Janet Wowak; his niece Rachel Ayers (Daniel Ayers); and his great-niece Zoe.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel (277 Folly Brook Blvd, Wethersfield, CT 06109). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Matthew's Lutheran Church (99 Franklin Square, New Britain, CT 06051).
