He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Nista and Antoinette Nista (Canal); his wife Carmela Nista (Marotta); and his siblings, Rocco Nista, Angelo Nista, Johnnie Nista, Christine Cozzolongo and Mary Viola.
He is survived by: his siblings, Richard Nista and Eleanor D'Amico of Middletown; and his siblings-in-law, Anna Ruscito of New Britain, Joseph, Felicia Andriano of North Carolina and Vincent Marotta.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home (411 S Main St, New Britain, CT 06051). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Ann Church (101 North St, New Britain, CT 06051). An entombment will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at the St. Mary Cemetery (1309 Stanley St, New Britain, CT 06051).
