He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincenzo Liburdi and Ascenza Liburdi (De Santis); his wife Angela Liburdi (Cefaratti); his son-in-law Frank Magnano; his brother Vincenzo Liburdi, Jr. (Nicoletta Liburdi); his niece Laura Pagliaruli (Liburdi); his siblings-in-law, Elisabetta Liburdi and Donald Heckler; his parents-in-law, Anastasio and Maria Cefaratti (Paventi); his brothers-in-law, Thomas and Joseph Cefaratti; Thomas Cefaratti, Jr..
He is survived by: his daughters, Linda Magnano (Michael Osga) of Bristol and Maryann Wiszniak of New Britain; his grandchildren, Brian Magnano (Sarah Latimer) of Bristol, Lori Grady (Michael) of Bristol, Garrett Bochenek (Gabrielle) of Berlin, Jaime Landry (Nathan) of Bristol, Michael Wiszniak of Enfield and Sarah Wiszniak of Washington, DC.; and his siblings, Riccardo Liburdi of South Windsor and Filomena Heckler of Meriden. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Shaker-Hill Funeral Home (764 Farmington Ave, New Britain, CT 06053). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Francis Catholic Parish in St. Jerome Church (1010 Slater Rd, New Britain, CT 06053).
In lieu of flowers donations in Sebastian's memory may be made to the Dementia Society of America, PO Box 600 Doylestown, PA 18901 or if you wish, plant a tree in his memory.
