It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vilma Legnani of New Britain, Connecticut, born in Stamford, Connecticut, who passed away on March 28, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Ettore Toffolon and Elvira Toffolon (Populin); her sisters, Anna Marie Ravalese (Patsy) and Zoa Wivell (James); and her sister-in-law Anne Toffolon.
She is survived by : her husband Anthony P. Legnani Jr.; her children, Anthony E. Legnani of Southington, Lori Mierzejewski (James) of Southington and Dr. Peter Legnani (Gina) of Rowayton; her brother Dr. Edward Toffolon of New Britain; her grandchildren, Andrew Legnani, David Legnani, Anthony Legnani Jr., Jamie Mierzejewski, Stephen Mierzejewski, Camille Legnani, Penelope Legnani and Eliza Legnani; and her great grandchild Diana Legnani. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
