He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred Petit Sr. and Thelma Petit (Tuller); and his sisters, Gail Ann Petit (Nancy Petit Paul) and Dawn Doty. He is survived by: his wife Linda Petit (Derosier); his sons, William "Billy" Petit (Karen) of Berlin and Steven Petit (Sylvia) of Newington; his granddaughters, Jessica, Nicole and Leah Petit; and his siblings-in-law, Kathy Alkas and Fred Alkas. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
