He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorthy Schnable and Roy Kempf; his siblings, Greg Kempf and Patrica Simenou; and his grandchildren, Shawna, Amber, Logan (Liv), Giorgiana, Jewel, Caroline and Luke.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Ormsbee Kempf; his children, Jodi Hasbrouck of New Canaan, Brandy Kempf of North Carolina, Jason Kempf (Suzanne) of Newtown, CT and Eva Geier (Nick); and his siblings, Carolee Ripley (Kevin), Burt Dupee, Edward Wilson and Mark Wilson.
