Susan Leighton Smith Obituary
We bid farewell to Susan Leighton Smith of New Canaan, Connecticut, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 5, 2025 at the age of 76. Susan touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Dyke and Barbara Dyke; her brother Charlie; and her stepmother Mary Dyke. She is survived by: her husband Don; her children, Courtney (Martin Grzyb) and Thomas (Julia Sick); her grandchildren, Christopher, Nicholas and Emma; and her stepsiblings, John, William, Christopher O'Neill and Mary Katherine Setterbo.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mark's Episcopal Church (111 Oenoke Ridge, New Canaan, CT 06840).
