Peter W. Doyen Obituary
It is with sadness that the passing of Peter W. Doyen (New Fairfield, Connecticut) is shared. Peter, born on June 5, 1927, passed away on September 12, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Linval d'Oyen and Daisy d'Oyen; his significant other Margie; his son Peter Doyen, Jr.; and his siblings, Val, Sid and Laurel.
He is survived by: his daughters, Deborah "Debbie" Hagood (Bill) and Caroline "Cari" Weizenecker (Rob); his grandchildren, Billy, Amanda, Chris and Abby; and his brothers, John, James "Jimmy" (Carol) and Pete Jr.. He is also survived by nephews, along with countless friends, neighbors.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Green Funeral Home (57 Main St, Danbury, CT 06810). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Edward the Confessor Church (21 Brush Hill Rd, New Fairfield, CT 06812). A burial will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at the Mt. View Cemetery.
