William Paul Sheaffer Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 27, 2025, at the age of 72, William Paul Sheaffer of New Fairfield, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to William Paul's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration William Paul has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alan D. Sheaffer and Shirley Sheaffer. He is survived by: his wife Lyn Sheaffer; his children, Alan Sheaffer (Ceren), Matthew Sheaffer and Sarah Sheaffer; and his sister Barbara Smith. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, beloved cousins, in-laws.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Cornell Memorial (247 White St, Danbury, CT 06810). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mission Church (4101 NY-52, Holmes, NY 12531).
