It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Hawley of New Hartford, Connecticut, who passed away on August 22, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Dorothy leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She is survived by: her husband Richard Hawley; and her daughters, Kim Bartlett Ellsworth, Holly Crosby and Nicole Spence. She is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church (39 Prospect St, New Hartford, CT 06057). A reception will be held on Saturday, August 30th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the Log House.
