With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Jay R. Gano (New Hartford, Connecticut), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Borden and Virginia Borden (Richmond); his brothers, Bob Gano (Diana) and John Borden; his father-in-law Maynard Jacobs; and his brother-in-law Johnny Blackwell.
He is survived by: his wife Patti Gano (Jacobs); his daughter Jennifer Turney (Jason) of New Hartford; his granddaughters, Kayci and Abby Coon of New Hartford; his great grandchild Evelyn; his sister Sue Blackwell; his mother-in-law Sandra Jacobs of Winsted; and his siblings-in-law, Jim Jacobs (Liz), Merri Marsh of Winsted, Charlene Jacobs (Tom Lavieri) of Winsted, Darlene Walberg (Bret) and Cheryl Swift. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
