She was predeceased by : her parents, Unnosuke Yodokawa and Mume Yodokawa; her daughter Barbara; and her siblings, Umeyo, Mieko, Tadashi, Shoichi and Masayuki.

She is survived by : her sons, Dave (Robbin Frye) and Jim (Ann); her husband Paul Olson, Jr.; her grandchildren, Justin, Kristin and Colby; and her brother Kiichi.
