He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Card and Kathryn June Card. He is survived by: his spouse Marijune Card (Mabutas); his children, Nathan Card (Andrea) of Stratford and Gabriella Grace Card of Barkhamsted; his grandchildren, Evelyn of Stratford and Vincent Card of Stratford; and his sisters, Kathy Williamson (Perry), Marianne Card of Stratford and Jane Horton (Greg) of Monroe. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Montano-Shea Funeral Home (5 Steele Rd, New Hartford, CT 06057).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his honor to a charity to help the environment as Ray cared immensely about the environment often times stopping to pick up garbage on the sides of the road or cut down vines trying to hurt trees.
