It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Acquetta Elizabeth Lewis of New Haven, Connecticut, born in Richmond, Virginia, who passed away on June 20, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Everette Frye and Vivian Frye; and her significant other Andrew Argento. She is survived by: her former husband Donald R. Lewis of West Haven, CT; her daughters, Nicole Lewis of West Haven, Alexsa Lewis of West Haven and Asia Lewis of West Haven; her grandson Cayden Carter; and her brother Everette Frye, Jr. (Robyn Frye) of Rhode Island. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, loved ones, and friends.
In September 2023, Acquetta received the gift of renewed life through a kidney donation-a blessing that allowed her more precious time with those she loved most.
