She was predeceased by : her parents, Celestino Rivera and Aida Marrero; and her brothers, Gaspar, Hipolito and Rafael Rivera.

She is survived by : her daughters, Aida Luz Rivera of San Juan, PR and Johanna Reyes-Rivera of New Haven; her siblings, Luz Maria Rivera, Daisy Rivera (Dario) of New Haven, Doris Rivera of Milwaukee, WI, Gabriel Rivera of San Juan and Feliciano Rivera of Carolina, PR; and her grandchildren, Caida Díaz Rivera, Ashely, Luís Pérez, Jovan Miguel James, Ivan Miguel Hernández and Messiah Rey Morrales. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
