He was predeceased by: his son Alforde Marshall Hunter "Chinaman"; his parents, Rufus Marshall Hall and Clara Mae Green; and his siblings, Rufus Hall Jr., Lil Bruh, Helen Hall, Adgielina Smallwood and Zemora Hall.
He is survived by: his children, Shamita Simone Hunter, Shylina Shiekel Hunter (Vanesa Hunter), Rufus Lamont Hunter and Rontae Jerrale Hunter; his son-nephew Anthony Hall; and his siblings, Stanley Hall (Julia Hall), Preston Hall (Alma Hall), Goldie Hall (Willie Toney), Viola Williams (Robert Williams), Hannah Ward (Edward Ward) and Queenie Jackson (James Jackson). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and cherished friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the New Trinity Temple Church of God in Christ (285 Dixwell Ave, New Haven, CT 06511). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
