He is survived by: his wife Luz Miriam Afanador González; his children, Noemi Hale of New Jersey, Vanessa Vázquez, Cynthia Ramírez (Miguel), Lisa Solomine (Gabriel) of New Haven, Eduardo González (Gladys), Anthony González (Bernice), Gary García (Laurie) of New Jersey, Alberto González (Noemi) of Puerto Rico, Hector González (Lorraine) of North Carolina and Orlando Afanador-González of New Haven; and his sisters, Minerva Rivera of New Jersey and Hilda Ortíz of Puerto Rico. He is also survived by twenty five grandchildren, twenty four great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson, and many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and friends.
